It is 3-years full time degree programme which is divided into 6 semesters which is aimed to offer professional managerial skills to the students.

  1. Bachelor of Science in Culinary Arts

It is a 3-year full time undergraduate course aimed at primarily equipping the students with Kitchen Management skills. The course offers in-depth skilled knowledge about food production, kitchen operations, hygiene and food safety, and kitchen management as a chief. Eligibility:

The minimum qualification as asked by all colleges and universities (both government and private) offering Hotel Management courses is to have a pass certificate in class 12th. Generally, a student should have scored aggregate marks of 50% in class 12th but this also depends on respective college’s rules.

Government of India conducts an annual entrance test named NCHMCT JEE (National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology Joint Entrance Exam) to offer admissions for aspirants of hospitality and hotel management. A student is required to clear this national-level with good marks after which he/she will be eligible for admission in various government supported hotel management colleges across India.

Private Hotel Management institutions may also require a student to pass Personal Interview and Group Discussions tests to clear eligibility criteria for admission process.

The International Institute of Hotel Management conducts national- level entrance examination for some of the best institutes of hospitality education in India. The IIHM eCHAT (International Institute of Hotel Management electronic common hospitality admission test) is conducted every year in the month of may for admission in various undergraduate hotel management courses in institutions recognised by IIHM.
