In 1975 over 60% BAPCO’s shares was obtained by the Government of Bahrain. In 1980, every one of BAPCO’s shares were assumed control by the Government of Bahrain. Bapco is a special organization, which has never stopped. In 1999 the present Bahrain Petroleum Company was made when the Bahrain National Oil Company, built up in 1976, converged with BAPCO. BAPCO is an incorporated oil organization working in the field of investigation, creation, refining, and advertising. It works a 260,000-barrel-per-day.
